Shiny Hair Team Kicks Off 2026 with a Cultural Team-Building Experience

At the beginning of 2026, the Shiny Hair team welcomed the New Year with a unique team-building event that combined creativity, culture, and collaboration. We traveled to Kezhifu in Heze, Shandong, where we had the chance to experience China’s intangible cultural heritage firsthand.

During the visit, our team immersed themselves in traditional craftsmanship. We tried our hand at cloisonné enamel art, creating our own pieces inspired by the beauty of distant mountains (“Yuan Shan”); explored rubbing techniques to transfer intricate designs onto paper; and experimented with gold leaf painting, producing works symbolizing prosperity (“Ma Shang Fa Cai” – “Immediate Wealth”). Each activity offered a deeper appreciation for the precision, patience, and artistry of these traditional crafts.

Beyond hands-on workshops, we also enjoyed a Chinese tea tasting, savoring the subtle flavors and taking a moment to relax and connect with colleagues. The experience fostered team spirit, encouraged creativity, and provided a refreshing start to the new year.
